Beaujolias Day has turned into quite an annual celebration in south Wales and the Welsh capital has a number of events taking place to mark the occasion.
The ritual has become bigger and bigger in Wales with people celebrating its arrival with a day long drinking session with colleagues and business contacts.
Lunches on Beaujolais Day start early, and so does the drinking.
