These are some of our favourite places to head to when we fancy a gin and tonic or gin cocktail.

Gin has long been one of the most popular tipples around and luckily there are lots of bars in Cardiff and Swansea offering a great selection of ‘mother’s ruin’ to choose from.

The demand for the juniper drink is so great that the cities even hold dedicated gin festivals.

Whatever gin takes your fancy you can be sure our two biggest cities can satisfy demand with some of the best gin brands and cocktails in the land.

So if you’re heading into Cardiff and Swansea for a G&T or gin cocktail then how about trying one of these? Some of them are just about to open but there’s no time like the present to be prepared – and be first in the queue.
